Hello, and welcome to Silux Call. In this guide, I'll show you how to add users to your account, how extensions work, and how to see which extension belongs to who.

An extension is a short number, like one zero one two, that belongs to one person on your team. Every user included in your plan gets their own extension automatically, so there's nothing to set up.

Once you're logged in to your dashboard, choose Users from the menu on the left.

Here you can see everyone on your account. The Extension column shows each person's own extension, so you always know whose is whose.

To add someone to your team, press Add User.

Enter their first name, last name and email address, and choose a password for them. They'll sign in with this email and password.

Choose a role. Account admin can manage the account and its settings. User is for staff who simply make and take calls.

Press Create User.

In a few seconds, their own extension appears next to their name. That's all there is to it.

Your new team member downloads the Silux Call app from the App Store or Google Play, or opens the softphone in their web browser, and signs in with their own email and password. Their phone is then connected to their own extension.

When someone calls your business number, everyone who is signed in rings at the same time, and whoever answers first takes the call. When your team make calls, customers see your business number.

If you'd rather ring people one after another, open Hunt Groups and add each person's extension. Our hunt group video shows you how.

How many users you can have, and how many calls can happen at the same time, depends on your plan. You can check yours under Subscription and usage.
