What it means

Users are the people who sign in to your account. Silux Call is priced per user, and each user includes their own number.

What it does

  • Lists users with role, status and last login.
  • Adds a user with first and last name, email, password and role.
  • Activates, deactivates or deletes users.
  • Searches users.

Every part of the page

Users list
User, Role, Status, Last Login, Actions.
Add User
First Name, Last Name, Email (required), Password (required) and role.
Role
An admin role can change account settings and billing. A standard user is for people who make and take calls.
Deactivate / Activate / Delete
Deactivate blocks sign-in but keeps their history. Delete cannot be undone.

How to use it

Add a team member

  1. Press "Add User".
  2. Enter their name, work email and a temporary password.
  3. Choose a role. Create User.
  4. Give them an extension on the Extensions page.
  5. Ask them to change their password and turn on 2FA in Settings.

Someone leaves

  1. Deactivate their user straight away.
  2. Move their extension, voicemail and hunt-group memberships to a colleague.
  3. Delete the user later if you no longer need their history.

Examples

Office manager

Give the office manager the Admin role so they can change routing and greetings; give other staff the User role so they only see their own calls and voicemail.

Someone leaves

Deactivate their user the day they leave so they can no longer sign in; their history stays on the account.

  • ★Give admin rights to as few people as possible.
  • ★Deactivate leavers on their last day.
  • ★Ask every user to enable two-factor authentication.

Abbreviations on this page

Tenant — Tenant / organisation
Your company's account on the platform. The Tenant ID is its reference number — support may ask for it.
Example: Your business is one tenant on the platform; nobody else can see your calls or settings.
2FA — Two-Factor Authentication
Signing in with your password plus a one-time code sent to your phone, so a stolen password is not enough.
Example: After your password you type a 6-digit code from your phone: that is 2FA.

Questions

How many users can I have?+

As many as you pay for — pricing is per user. Growth and Pro have a minimum of 2 users; teams of 25 or more are quoted as Enterprise.

How do I add more paid users?+

Contact support or book a support call and we will change your user count; your monthly total is your plan rate multiplied by your users.

Does each user get a number?+

Yes — every user you pay for includes their own UK number.
