Yes. Since July 2015, calls to 0800 and 0808 numbers are free from UK mobiles and landlines. Your business pays for the call instead, which is why 0800 numbers use call credit.

Not as standard. 0800 calls from abroad are very expensive, so your number accepts UK callers only and callers from abroad hear a short message (you are not charged). You can allow calls from abroad in your dashboard; they cost 195p a minute from your credit.
We email you when 90% and again when 95% of your credit is used. If it runs out, your 0800 number is paused (callers hear that it is temporarily unavailable) until you top up; your other numbers keep working. Top up any time by card, or, if you are a company, contact us for a monthly-invoiced account.
Yes. Apply for an 0800 account using the form on this page. We check every application and reply within one working day. Approved accounts are invoiced monthly for their 0800 calls.
