What is Non-geographic number?

A non-geographic number is a UK phone number that is not linked to a place — mainly 03 (national rate), 0800/0808 (freephone) and 084/087 (service charge) numbers.

How does Non-geographic number relate to Silux Call?

Geographic numbers (01 and 02) show where a business is; non-geographic numbers show national reach instead. For callers, 03 numbers cost the same as a local call, 0800/0808 are free, and 084/087 carry an extra service charge that many customers dislike. Silux Call sells 0330 numbers (£4.99/month) and 0800 freephone numbers (£9.99/month plus call credit) alongside local 01/02 numbers, and does not sell 084/087 numbers. See [0330 number](/glossary/0330-number) and [0800 freephone number](/glossary/freephone-0800-number).
