- "Add for £1.50/month" buys it through secure checkout. Once bought it shows Active and "Used this month" (e.g. 12 / 50).

- The same for WhatsApp, up to 300 a month.

- The mobile, e.g. 07700 900123. SMS goes to UK mobiles only; WhatsApp works with any mobile number on WhatsApp.

- Every incoming call (as soon as it rings); Missed calls (nobody answered or the line was busy); Diverted calls (forwarded to an outside number); New voicemails (someone left a message).
- Limit reached
- Alerts pause until the 1st of the month. Calls and voicemails still appear in your dashboard and app.
How to use it
Order SMS call alerts
- Open Call Alerts (SMS & WhatsApp).
- On "SMS call alerts" press "Add for £1.50/month".
- Pay in secure checkout — you return here and see "Payment received — your call alerts are switching on now".
- Enter your UK mobile under "Send alerts to".
- Tick Missed calls and New voicemails. Save.
Order WhatsApp call alerts
- Press "Add for £1.50/month" on the WhatsApp card and pay.
- Enter the mobile number that has WhatsApp.
- Pick your events and Save.
Examples
Know about every call
Buy WhatsApp call alerts (£1.50/month, 300 alerts) and tick Every incoming call and New voicemail. Your WhatsApp shows "Incoming call from 07700 900789 to your business line" even when you are on another call.
Just the missed ones
Buy SMS call alerts (£1.50/month, 50 texts, UK mobiles) and tick Missed calls only, so the allowance lasts the month.
Recommended settings
- ★Tick Missed calls and New voicemails only — "Every incoming call" uses your allowance fast.
- ★Choose WhatsApp if you get a lot of calls: 300 alerts a month against 50 for SMS.
- ★Keep the mobile number up to date when staff change.
Abbreviations on this page
- SMS — Short Message Service
- An ordinary text message.
- Example: A missed-call alert that arrives on your mobile as a text is an SMS.
- The messaging app. Call alerts and the WhatsApp Business inbox send and receive messages through it.
- Example: A missed-call alert can arrive as a WhatsApp message instead of a text.

What happens when I hit the monthly limit?+
Alerts pause until the 1st of next month. Nothing else stops working.
Can SMS alerts go to an overseas mobile?+
SMS alerts go to UK mobiles only. WhatsApp alerts work with any mobile on WhatsApp.
How do I cancel?+
Open Features & add-ons and press Remove on the alert add-on.
