Getting started
Dashboard Overview: your home screen explained
The Overview page shows today's calls, minutes, numbers and voicemails at a glance, a setup checklist, recent calls and a 14-day call chart.
Which plans include it
Included on every plan, including the Free Trial.
What it means
The first page you see after signing in. It is a summary of your whole account — nothing on it changes how calls behave, so you cannot break anything here.
What it does
- Shows your call totals, minutes used, how many numbers you have and how many new voicemails are waiting.
- Splits calls into incoming, outgoing and missed so you can spot a busy or quiet day.
- Gives you a "Start Simple → Scale Later" checklist for your first setup.
- Lists your most recent calls with a link to the full history.
- Draws a 14-day call volume chart you can export.
Every part of the page
- Start Simple → Scale Later
- A setup checklist shown to new accounts: set up your first extension, add or port a phone number, set your voicemail greeting, and explore features & add-ons. Each item links to the page that does it. Press "I'm all set — dismiss this" to hide it for good.
- Total Calls / Total Minutes
- All calls in and out, and the talk time they added up to, for the current period.
- Phone Numbers
- How many numbers are live on your account.
- New Voicemails
- Messages you have not listened to yet. Click through to Voicemail to play them.
- Incoming / Outgoing / Missed
- Your calls split by direction. Missed means the call rang and nobody answered (it may have gone to voicemail).
- Quick Actions
- Shortcuts to Users & Extensions, Analytics, Settings and Billing.
- Recent Calls
- Your latest calls with who called, when and how long for. "View All" opens the full call history in Analytics & CDR.
- Call Volume — Last 14 Days
- A chart of calls per day. "Export" downloads the figures as a spreadsheet.

Examples
Morning check
Open the Overview to see last night's missed calls and new voicemails before you start returning calls.
Is anyone calling?
The 14-day chart shows if call volume dropped after you changed your menu — a quick sign something is set up wrong.
Recommended settings
- ★Complete every checklist item before you give your number out.
- ★Glance at Missed each morning — a missed business call is usually a lost customer.
- ★Turn on Missed Calls alerts or Call Alerts so you are told about missed calls without opening the dashboard.
Abbreviations on this page
- CDR — Call Detail Record
- One line in your call history: who called whom, when, for how long, whether it was answered, and what it cost.
- Example: Each line in Call History (time, from, to, duration, status) is one CDR.
- Tenant — Tenant / organisation
- Your company's account on the platform. The Tenant ID is its reference number — support may ask for it.
- Example: Your business is one tenant on the platform; nobody else can see your calls or settings.
Questions
Why does my Overview show zero calls?+
Figures only count calls made or received on this account. A brand-new account, or one whose number is still being ported, will show zero until calls start flowing.
Can I bring the setup checklist back after dismissing it?+
The checklist is designed for first-time setup. Everything it links to is also in the left-hand menu, and the Help button on each page explains it in full.
Does the Overview update live?+
It refreshes when you open or reload the page. For a second-by-second view of calls in progress, use Live Calls.
