Transcription converts recorded speech into written text on our own UK servers, so you can search "boiler warranty" and find the call in seconds.

- Supports English (UK), English (US), French, German and Spanish.
- Skips very short calls below a minimum duration you set.
- Keeps transcripts for 30, 90, 180 days or 1 year.
- Searches, filters (calls / voicemails) and downloads transcripts as TXT.

How to use it
Turn on transcription
- Switch on Enable Auto-Transcription.
- Language: English (UK).
- Min Duration 10 seconds; Retention 90 days.
- Tick Include Calls and Include Voicemails. Save Settings.

Find that call
Search all transcripts for "refund" to find every call where a customer asked for one this month.
Notes without typing
Download a call transcript as a text file and paste it into the customer's record.
Recommended settings
- ★Language English (UK) for UK callers — accuracy is noticeably better than US English for British accents.
- ★Min Duration 10 seconds to skip wrong numbers and hang-ups.
- ★Retention no longer than your recording retention.

- Transcription — Speech to text
- Turning recorded speech into written text you can read and search.
- Example: A voicemail transcription lets you read "Hi, it's Sarah about the quote" instead of listening.
- UK GDPR — UK General Data Protection Regulation
- The UK's data protection law. For recordings it means: tell people, have a reason, and keep them no longer than you need.
- Example: Keeping recordings only as long as you need them (for example 90 days) is part of meeting UK GDPR.

Does transcription separate who said what?+
Transcripts are timestamped text of the call. They do not label which speaker said each line.
Which plans include call transcription?+
Pro and Enterprise, or as an add-on on other plans. Plus includes voicemail-to-text only.
Is my audio sent to a third party?+
Transcription runs on our own UK servers.
