What it means
Notifications that tell you about missed calls so you can call back before the customer rings a competitor.
What it does
- Emails you for each missed call — immediately, after 5 minutes or after 15 minutes.
- Sends SMS alerts to a mobile.
- Sends WhatsApp alerts where WhatsApp is on your account.
- Adds a custom prefix and chooses what is included (caller's number, time, voicemail link).
- Lists the last 20 missed calls with ring duration and voicemail.

- Email Notifications
- An email per missed call. Timing: Notify immediately, After 5 minutes, After 15 minutes.
- SMS Notifications
- A text message to the mobile you enter.
- "Requires WhatsApp add-on" if not on your account. For simple per-event SMS or WhatsApp alerts, the Call Alerts page is the easiest option.
- Notification Content
- Custom message prefix (e.g. "[Acme]"); Include caller's number; Include call timestamp; Include voicemail link.

How to use it
Get an email for every missed call
- Switch on Email Notifications, choose "Notify immediately".
- Tick Include caller's number and Include voicemail link.
- Save Settings, then Send Test.
Examples
Out on a job
Turn on email and SMS alerts: when a call is missed you get a text with the caller's number and time, and can ring back from the van.
Recommended settings
- ★Choose "After 5 minutes" if callers often leave a voicemail — you get one alert with the message link instead of two.
- ★Always include the caller's number so you can call back from the alert.
Abbreviations on this page
- SMS — Short Message Service
- An ordinary text message.
- Example: A missed-call alert that arrives on your mobile as a text is an SMS.
- The messaging app. Call alerts and the WhatsApp Business inbox send and receive messages through it.
- Example: A missed-call alert can arrive as a WhatsApp message instead of a text.

Which plans include missed-call notifications?+
Every plan includes them. WhatsApp alerts need WhatsApp on your account; dedicated SMS and WhatsApp call alerts are £1.50 add-ons on Call Alerts.
What is the difference between this and Call Alerts?+
Missed Calls is about missed calls, mainly by email. Call Alerts are paid add-ons that text or WhatsApp you about any event you pick — every call, missed, diverted or a new voicemail — with a monthly allowance.
