What it means

Silux Call sends your business calls to whatever Bluetooth audio you are using: a work headset, AirPods or other earbuds, a speakerphone or your car. Your callers see your business number, not your mobile, and you talk hands-free.

What it does

  • Calls play through your Bluetooth headset, earbuds or car as soon as they are connected to your phone. Nothing to set up in Silux Call.
  • The Audio button on the call screen switches between the phone, the loudspeaker and your Bluetooth device during a call.
  • iPhone: the Audio button opens Apple's own menu (iPhone, Speaker, AirPods, car), and you can answer and end calls from your AirPods or your car like any iPhone call.
  • Android: the Audio button lists your phone, the speaker and every Bluetooth device the phone can use.
  • Desktop app and browser softphone: use any Bluetooth headset paired with your computer. Choose it as the computer's sound input and output.
  • Works with Apple AirPods, Beats, Samsung Galaxy Buds, Google Pixel Buds, Huawei FreeBuds, Sony, Bose, JBL, Panasonic, Jabra, Poly, Sennheiser, Logitech, Anker Soundcore, Shokz and almost any Bluetooth headset, speakerphone or car.
  • Your callers always see your business number, whichever device you talk on.

How to use it

Use AirPods or a Bluetooth headset on your phone

  1. Connect the headset or earbuds to your phone in the phone's Bluetooth settings, as you would for music.
  2. Make or answer a call in the Silux Call app. The sound goes to your headset.
  3. To move the call back to the phone or speaker, tap Audio on the call screen and choose Phone or Speaker.

Take business calls in your car

  1. Pair your phone with the car once, in the car's Bluetooth menu.
  2. Keep the Silux Call app signed in. Incoming business calls ring as normal and the sound plays through the car speakers.
  3. On iPhone you can also answer from the car's controls, the same as any iPhone call.

Use a Bluetooth headset on your computer

  1. Pair the headset with your computer (Windows: Settings > Bluetooth; Mac: System Settings > Bluetooth).
  2. Choose the headset as the computer's sound input and output.
  3. Open the Silux Call desktop app or the browser softphone and make or answer a call as normal.
  • ★Use a headset with a built-in microphone for the clearest calls in a busy office or car.
  • ★Keep your headset charged: if it switches off mid-call, the call moves back to the phone.
  • ★In the car, keep the app signed in so business calls ring hands-free.
  • ★Brand names are trademarks of their owners. Silux Call is not affiliated with them; they are listed because they work as standard Bluetooth calling devices.
  • ★No sound in your headset? Check it is connected in the phone's Bluetooth settings, then tap Audio on the call screen and pick it.
  • ★Callers can't hear you? Make sure the headset, not the phone, is chosen as the microphone (on a computer: the sound input).
