How calls are answered
Do Not Disturb, Working Hours and Holiday Mode
Three switches that stop calls ringing: Do Not Disturb (right now), Enforce Working Hours (on a schedule) and Holiday / Out of Office mode (for a block of dates).
Which plans include it
Do Not Disturb is on every plan. Holiday mode is included from Entry (an add-on on the Free Trial). Working-hours enforcement is included from Plus.
What it means
Your availability controls. They change where calls go without touching your normal routing, so turning them off puts everything back exactly as it was.
What it does
- Do Not Disturb: silences all incoming calls and sends them to voicemail. Outbound calls still work.
- Enforce Working Hours: reroutes calls outside your configured schedule.
- Holiday / Out of Office: forwards every call to your holiday destination.
- Lists UK bank holidays; holidays marked active switch Holiday mode on automatically on the day.
Every part of the page
- Do Not Disturb
- On/off. The banner "DND is currently active" tells you calls are going to voicemail.
- Enforce Working Hours / Configure Schedule
- Turns your Business Hours schedule into a hard rule. "Configure Schedule" opens the hours.
- Holiday / Out of Office Mode
- Overrides all routing and forwards calls to your holiday destination.
- UK Bank Holidays
- Click a holiday to activate it (Holiday mode switches on automatically that day) or to skip it.
How to use it
Stop calls for an hour
- Switch Do Not Disturb on.
- Calls go to voicemail.
- Switch it off when you are free — nothing else changes.
Close for a week's holiday
- Set your holiday greeting on Greetings ("We are closed until Monday 6th").
- Switch Holiday / Out of Office Mode on.
- Switch it off when you are back.
Examples
In a meeting
Turn on Do Not Disturb for an hour. Calls go to voicemail (or your chosen destination) instead of ringing. Turn it off when you are out.
Fixed working pattern
Turn on Enforce Working Hours so your phone only rings in your hours — for example a part-timer who works Monday to Wednesday.
Two weeks away
Record a greeting saying "We are closed until Monday 15 August", then switch Holiday / Out of Office mode on before you go. Every call goes to your holiday destination until you switch it off on your return.
