What is Pay by phone (PCI-compliant card payment)?
PCI-compliant pay by phone lets a customer key their card number into their own phone keypad during a call, so nobody in your business ever sees or hears the digits.
The tones are masked, so your staff hear a flat tone rather than the numbers, and the call recording pauses automatically while the card is entered and resumes afterwards. The card details go straight to the payment provider and never touch your office, your staff or your recordings — which is what the PCI DSS card-security rules are concerned with. Silux Call includes this from Pro, or £9/month as an add-on.
