What is Call recording?
Call recording keeps an audio copy of a phone call so it can be listened to afterwards — for training, for quality, or to settle a dispute about what was agreed.
Recording can be on-demand (someone presses record during a call) or automatic (every call is captured without anyone remembering). Each recording is stamped with the date, time, both numbers and the duration, and kept for as long as your retention setting allows. In the UK, businesses recording calls must tell people they are doing it and have a lawful basis under UK GDPR; an announcement at the start of the call is the usual way. Card payments should pause the recording so card numbers are never captured. Silux Call includes recording from Growth (£6/month as an add-on) and automatic recording of every call from Pro (£3/month).
