Getting Started

Platform Overview

What the platform is made of, and which part does what.

Silux Call is a hosted phone system. Calls arrive on UK numbers we provide or that you port in, are handled by call-routing rules you control, and are answered on softphones, SIP devices or forwarded to existing phones.

The moving parts

LayerWhat it does
NumbersUK geographic (020, 0161…), non-geographic 03 and freephone 08 ranges. Inventory is UK-only.
RoutingDecides where a call goes: extensions, IVR menus, hunt groups, queues, voicemail, or an external number.
EndpointsThe things that ring — browser softphone, desktop/mobile SIP clients, or forwarded phones.
Smart answeringAn automated attendant that can answer, take a message and transfer.
Recording & voicemailOptional call recording and voicemail, with transcription and search.
ReportingCall detail records, analytics and per-tenant activity logs.

Multi-tenancy

Every account is an isolated tenant. Extensions run in their own dialplan context, so one tenant can never dial another tenant's extensions, and data is separated at the query level.

Plans

A self-signup starts a 14-day free trial. That is the only trial — paid plans do not have one. Plus instead has an introductory offer of 99p per line for the first 3 months.

Pricing is per line: a customer with three lines pays three times the tier rate. Every plan includes free UK number porting.
