Adding Numbers
How to get additional numbers, and who is allowed to choose them.
Our number inventory is UK-only: geographic numbers for every UK area code, non-geographic 03 ranges, and freephone 08 ranges.
On a paid plan
- Go to the Numbers page and search by town, area code or number type
- Choose the specific number you want from the results
- Add it to your order and complete checkout
- The number is provisioned to your account and appears in Dashboard → Phone Numbers
Some orders are fulfilled by our team rather than instantly. You will see the order status on your billing page, and we email you when the number is live.
On a trial
Trial accounts cannot choose or buy numbers. You are allocated one UK landline at random for the 14 days. Attempting to select a number through the API returns an error explaining this — the restriction is enforced server-side.
To choose your own number, order a paid plan. You can then pick any number in stock, and keep it for as long as you are a customer.
Costs
Additional numbers are charged monthly on top of your plan. The exact price is shown against each number before you order it.
