Clio phone integration: log every call in Clio automatically (free)

Short answer: connect Silux Call to Clio once, and every call, missed call and voicemail is logged in Clio Manage on its own, as a phone call on the caller's contact and on their open matter. It is free on every Silux Call plan, including the 7-day free trial.

Why fee earners stop logging calls

Call logging is the first thing to slip on a busy day. A client rings, you deal with it, the next call comes in, and the phone note never gets written. That is a gap in the file and, often, time that never reaches a bill.

Automatic logging closes that gap: the phone system writes the record for you, the moment the call ends.

What gets logged in Clio

• Incoming and outgoing calls, with the date, time and duration.
• Missed calls, so nobody can say they rang and heard nothing back.
• Voicemails, with their length.
• The caller's number, matched to the right Clio contact.
• The client's open matter, linked automatically when they have one open matter.

Calls from numbers that are not in Clio yet are still logged in Communications with the number, so nothing is lost. Add the number to the contact and every later call links to it.

How to connect Clio (2 minutes)

1. Open CRM Integration in your Silux Call dashboard.
2. Press Connect to Clio and choose Clio UK / EU.
3. Sign in with your normal Clio login and press Allow.
4. Make a call. It appears in Clio under Communications.

There are no API keys to copy and nothing to install. You choose which events are logged (calls, missed calls, voicemails), and you can disconnect at any time.

Does it cost extra?

No. Many phone providers only include their legal-software link on higher plans or charge for a connector. Silux Call includes Clio call logging free on every plan, from Entry upwards, and in the free trial.

What about LEAP and Proclaim?

LEAP call logging is in development: our LEAP developer application has been submitted. Until it is ready, any system can receive every call, missed call and voicemail through our webhooks and API.
