Missed-call text-back: stop losing callers you could not answer

Short answer: with Silux Call Caller Texts, a caller whose call you miss gets a text from your business straight away, so they wait for you instead of ringing someone else. You can also text callers your booking link from your phone menu, and thank people who leave a voicemail.

Why a missed call costs you a customer

When a new customer rings and nobody answers, most will not leave a voicemail. They ring the next business on the list. A quick text that says you saw their call, and when you will call back, keeps them with you.

Three automatic texts

• Missed-call text-back: sent when an incoming call is not answered and no voicemail is left.
• Voicemail reply: sent when the caller leaves you a message.
• Press a key for our link: on your Call Menu, "press 3 and we will text you our booking link". The caller gets the link and hears the menu again.

Every text starts with your business name, and you choose the wording.

Rules that protect you and your callers

• Service messages only. Sales, offers and promotions are not allowed and are blocked.
• Texts only go to someone who has just called you, straight after their call.
• UK mobiles only. Overseas and landline callers are never texted.
• One text per caller per day, so nobody is pestered.
• Send-only: there is no text inbox. Callers cannot reply, so texts never ask them to (no "reply STOP").
• Fake and scam-looking texts are blocked too, for example messages asking for card or bank details, link shorteners, or pretending to be a bank or HMRC.

How much does it cost?

How to switch it on

1. Open Caller Texts in your Silux Call dashboard.
2. Buy a text pack.
3. Write your messages and tick the service-messages-only confirmation.
4. Turn on the missed-call and voicemail texts, and add "Text the caller our link" to a key on your Call Menu.
