Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited

• Auto-dialled robocalls without prior consent (PECR).
• Caller-ID spoofing for the purpose of fraud or harassment.
• Traffic pumping / artificially inflating minutes against revenue-share numbers.
• Originating calls to UK premium-rate numbers on free / Pay-as-you-go tiers.
• Sending unsolicited bulk SMS or WhatsApp messages.
• Recording calls without legal basis and consent under UK GDPR.
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass rate limits.

Predictive dialer rules

Power Dialer feature requires (a) a documented Lawful Basis, (b) an opt-out mechanism on every outbound call, (c) abandonment rate ≤ 3% of live answered calls within any 24-hour period, in line with Ofcom guidance.

Enforcement

Confirmed breach results in immediate suspension and, where required, notification to Ofcom, the ICO, and law enforcement. Silux reserves the right to recover any carrier fraud charges from the offending tenant.
